Kessel 44 Sabacc Deck: Sand, Blood and Stone Edition

A Premium Sabacc Deck for the Galaxy's Most Addictive New Game

Sabacc has been building a real-world following since the Solo film put the game on-screen, and Disney's Galaxy's Edge parks took it further still — teaching the game to visitors and seeding a dedicated community around it. For several years, that community grew steadily, developing custom decks, house rules, and organised play around the Solo variant. Then Star Wars Outlaws arrived and changed the scale entirely. By putting a fully playable card game at the heart of its open world, Ubisoft introduced Kessel Sabacc to an audience of millions — dwarfing anything the tabletop community had seen before, and generating immediate demand for a physical deck to match.

Multiversal Exports built the Kessel 44 Sabacc Deck (Sand, Blood, and Stone Edition) to answer that demand: a reproduction of the Outlaws deck, designed with bold visual language and a set of distinctive features that elevate the experience beyond what the standard physical options on the market offer.

It's designed for collectors who want a premium, shelf-worthy object as much as a functional deck. It's a faithful reproduction of the Outlaws deck, enhanced with bold visual language touches and a set of distinctive features that elevate the experience beyond what the standard physical options on the market currently offer.

It's also built with European and UK players in mind. The card producers serving the Sabacc community predominantly operate overseas, and the delivery costs reflect it. Multiversal Exports operates closer to home — closing the gap between a quality deck and the players who want one.

DESIGN FEATURES

The features that set this deck apart were chosen deliberately. The Shift Card system replaces the loose tokens most players are left to source themselves, integrating the full Outlaws token set into the deck as a dedicated suit — compact, consistent, and ready to play straight out of the box.

The side-loading box, frequently cited by customers as their preferred design, keeps everything tight and accessible. Three internal trays keep the Blood, Sand, and Shift cards cleanly organised, saving you from shuffling through your cards to separate the decks. The middle tray is also large enough to hold your dice. Every element of the design draws from the visual world of Star Wars.

THE DECK AND THE BOX

The Kessel 44 Deck: Sand, Blood, and Stone Edition is built for this game from the ground up.

All cards are printed on linen-textured playing card stock that handles consistently from the first game to the hundredth.

The 44-card playing deck divides into two suits — Blood (Red) and Sand (Yellow) — each containing 18 positive cards valued 1 to 6, three Imposter cards, and a Sylop. The two suits use different coloured card backs: a defining feature of the Kessel deck and essential to how the draw mechanics work. Blood and Sand draw piles are kept separate, and players always hold one card from each family.

The deck also includes a full set of Reference Cards — Order of Play, Symbol Key, Winning Hands, and Shift Token guide — plus four Stand Cards for signalling your action during play. For new players, these eliminate the need to flip back to a rulebook mid-game. For experienced players, they're a clean table presence that keeps things moving.

Every deck comes with the option to include a pair of metal Sabacc deck, tastefully finished in Gold or Silver.

THE STONE SUIT - SHIFT TOKENS

What separates Kessel from a simple card-matching game is its Shift Token system — Played well, Shift Tokens give strategic depth to the game and ramp up the tension and the pressure.

Most physical reproductions of the Kessel deck don’t include the Shift Tokens.  Players are expected to buy them separately - sourcing 3D-printed tokens, metal counters, or print-out sheets.

Our Kessel Deck integrates them fully. In our deck, the Shift Tokens become the Stone suit - adding 25 Shift Token cards to the deck.  This includes the complete set of all sixteen officially recognised tokens from Star Wars Outlaws, including the duplicates you pick up in the game.   They share the same card stock, the same design language, and the same dimensions as the playing cards. They live in the deck, not in a separate bag.

For players who want every token available for every seat at the table, Shift Card Booster decks are available separately.

GET IN THE GAME

Once you have your deck, what comes next?

As well as the rules cards included in this deck, the Games of the Galaxy Holodex has a complete guide to playing Kessel Sabacc — covering rules, Shift Token effects, hand hierarchy tables, and frequently asked questions about how Shift Tokens work and interact with each other and the hand hierarchy. Not only this, but downloads and everything a new player needs to start their first session.

Beyond the table, the Sabacc community is active and growing.  Check out the Sabacc Club page for links to clubs and organisations like the Holocard Cantina, which brings together players online with its Sabacc gaming app, and Sabacc for Charity, which runs competitions and supports local play events worldwide.
